Nota specifica per LGPL (applicabile alla distribuzione on-premise)
Alcuni componenti sono rilasciati sotto GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL). I termini permettono l'uso di queste librerie all'interno di software proprietario a condizione che:
- Gli utenti siano informati della presenza di componenti LGPL (soddisfatto da questo documento).
- Gli utenti mantengano il diritto di sostituire i componenti LGPL con
versioni modificate. Il modello di linking dinamico di Python (il meccanismo
standard
import) consente la sostituzione a runtime posizionando una libreria modificata prima nelPYTHONPATH. I binari nativi LGPL del FE (libvipstramitesharp) sono anch'essi linkati dinamicamente e sostituibili rimpiazzando il pacchetto@img/sharp-libvips-*.

Attribuzioni e note speciali
I componenti seguenti richiedono un'attribuzione specifica o presentano note di licenza dedicate oltre alla standard attribuzione permissiva.
1. sharp / libvips (elaborazione immagini — FE)
sharp (Apache-2.0) utilizza la libreria nativa libvips (LGPL-3.0-or-later)
tramite linking dinamico. Il binario è installato come dipendenza opzionale
separata corrispondente alla piattaforma host (es. @img/sharp-linux-x64,
@img/sharp-win32-x64) e non è staticamente linkato nel codice di Theka.
Sorgenti upstream:
- sharp: https://github.com/lovell/sharp (Apache-2.0)
- libvips: https://github.com/libvips/libvips (LGPL-2.1-or-later, ripacchettizzata come LGPL-3.0-or-later in questa distribuzione)
Theka non modifica questi binari. Per l'esenzione LGPL sul linking dinamico,
il codice applicativo di Theka resta proprietario. Gli utenti che desiderano
sostituire il binario libvips con una versione modificata possono farlo
rimpiazzando il pacchetto @img/sharp-libvips-* nell'installazione.
2. caniuse-lite (CC-BY-4.0 — FE)
Dati di compatibilità dei browser forniti da "Can I Use" (caniuse-lite),
rilasciati sotto Creative Commons Attribution 4.0
(https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/). Dati utilizzati senza
modifiche.
3. dompurify (MPL-2.0 OR Apache-2.0 dual license — FE)
dompurify è utilizzato secondo i termini dell'opzione Apache License 2.0
della sua dual license MPL-2.0 / Apache-2.0.
4. @sentry/cli (FSL-1.1-MIT — FE build-time)
@sentry/cli è uno strumento di build (upload dei sourcemap su Sentry durante
la fase di build del frontend). La sua Functional Source License 1.1 permette
tutti gli usi tranne la costruzione di un prodotto che compete direttamente con
Sentry nell'ambito error monitoring / observability. Theka è un prodotto
Digital Asset Management e non compete con Sentry. Due anni dopo ogni release,
FSL-1.1-MIT si converte automaticamente in MIT (Change Date + Change License).

5. LightningCSS (MPL-2.0 — FE)
lightningcss e i relativi binari di piattaforma sono il trasformatore CSS
nativo usato da Next.js / Tailwind. MPL-2.0 è un copyleft debole per file:
l'obbligo di rilasciare i sorgenti si applica solo ai file derivati dai
sorgenti upstream. Theka non modifica questi pacchetti, quindi l'obbligo è
soddisfatto dal link al repository upstream:

6. Blue Oak Model License 1.0.0 (FE)
glob, minipass e path-scurry utilizzano la Blue Oak Model License 1.0.0,
una licenza permissiva moderna approvata OSI nel 2023. Il comportamento è
equivalente a MIT/ISC: attribuzione richiesta, nessun copyleft.
7. Binari nativi specifici per piattaforma (FE)
Circa 78 pacchetti FE sono binari nativi nella forma
<parent>-<platform>-<arch> (es. @next/swc-linux-x64-gnu,
@img/sharp-linux-x64, lightningcss-darwin-arm64). Sono dichiarati come
optionalDependencies, quindi npm installa solo quelli corrispondenti alla
piattaforma di build. Le versioni compaiono come platform-binary nella
tabella quando il binario non era presente nell'ambiente del generatore; la
licenza è ereditata dal pacchetto padre.
