Theka v1.2.1 Multi-site and advanced AI analysis
Version 1.2.1 BetaMay 9, 2026
New Features
Multi-site management (Enterprise)
- DAM assets can now be linked to one or more sites in your organisation. Users see only the documents belonging to their site, plus those shared at company level.
- The Corporate site is always visible to all users: documents assigned to Corporate are accessible to the entire organisation without individual assignments.
- When specific sites are assigned to a document, Theka automatically removes the Corporate assignment to keep the structure clean.
- Automatic syncs from external sources respect the sites configured in the mapping: imported documents are assigned to the correct site as soon as they arrive.
- Multi-site is available on the Enterprise plan: activation requires enabling by the system administrator, after which the tenant admin can manage it independently from the configuration page.
AI analysis: tables, scanned pages and advanced ranking
- Theka now reads and analyses structured tables in PDF documents: tabular data becomes part of the extracted knowledge, searchable and visible in Topic wikis.
- Documents with scanned or corrupted pages are now processed through visual analysis: Theka “sees” the page and extracts its text even when it is not selectable.
- Knowledge analysis now also considers tables and figures as sources of facts: concepts present in non-textual elements are extracted and linked to Topics.
- The search result ranking now distinguishes between text, tables and images: the most relevant results always surface first, regardless of the original content format.
Updates
- Cleaner AI analysis on documents with repeated headers: Theka now automatically detects recurring headers and footers in multi-page documents and excludes them from concept extraction, reducing noise in Topics.
- Upload multiple files in a single operation: new bulk upload mode that reserves space for several files at once, speeding up the workflow for users importing large document volumes.
- External source syncs now automatically assign the site configured in the mapping: no manual intervention on imported documents is needed.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a case where documents could remain stuck indefinitely in the initial processing phase: they are now automatically detected and re-queued without manual intervention.
General Info
Update introducing multi-site management (Enterprise plan) and boosting the quality of AI analysis on documents — particularly for tables, scanned content and multi-page documents. No action required: improvements apply automatically to newly uploaded documents.
