Your choice
Storage, AI, sign-in and search are configuration of your workspace, not choices we make for you.
Theka builds on what you already have: your storage, your AI provider, your company sign-in, your search engine, your ERP. Each piece is a connector you can swap without touching documents or workflows.
Each connector declares what it can do, how it authenticates and which settings it needs. Theka works on the abstraction: changing provider changes neither your data nor your workflows.
Storage, AI, sign-in and search are configuration of your workspace, not choices we make for you.
Move from one AI provider to another, or add a second storage, without redoing your configuration.
A system that is not supported yet? The connector is written without changing the rest of Theka.
Public cloud, sovereign cloud, on-site servers or a mix. Theka reads from and writes to your storage; linked folders sync on their own.

You use your own key and choose the model for each task: reading, summaries, fields, knowledge, semantic search. You can even use different providers for different tasks.

Sign in with Microsoft or Google via OAuth 2.0: passwords stay with your identity provider, and Theka never sees them.

Theka search already works on its own database. For very large archives, or to keep document text on your own cluster, full-text search can run on Elasticsearch or OpenSearch; semantic search and permissions stay in Theka.

Your PIM, ERP or an internal system uploads documents and reads metadata and files through the Theka API. There is also a connector for Oracle NetSuite today, to bring master data into Master Data.
Connecting a service does not mean exposing your keys.
Keys, passwords and OAuth secrets are encrypted, never in plain text in the logs.
Theka checks the connection: if it fails, the credentials are not saved.
When a provider retires a model you use, Theka flags it and suggests the successor.
Yes. Storage and AI providers are connectors: you add them, swap them and run them side by side without changing documents, workflows or permissions.
Encrypted in the database. Before saving them, Theka tests the connection: if it does not work, they are not saved.
No: search already works on PostgreSQL. An external engine is useful for very large archives or to keep document text on your own cluster.
Today there is a connector for Oracle NetSuite and APIs for any PIM or ERP. For other business systems (SAP, Dynamics, Odoo, Zucchetti) the connector is developed on request.
