How to link documents to subjects and use tags
Advanced organization
Beyond Category and Type, use Entities and Tags.
Entities
Subjects linked to documents:
- Supplier, Client, Employee, Consultant
- Product, Asset, Property / Office
- Bank, Public Authority, Related Company
Linking an entity
- Open document detail → Entities section
- Select type and search or create the entity
🔍 Example: Link contracts and invoices to supplier "ABC Ltd" to see them all with one click.
Tags
Free-form labels, manual or AI-generated. Use for cross-cutting classifications: "urgent", "to review", "Q1 2025".
Filtering
Combine filters by entity, tag, category, type, date and status in search.
