Theka v1.1.7 — Plan management, stronger privacy and polish

Commercial plan management

• Selective activation of external search, advanced privacy and audit log depending on the customer's plan
• New configurable limit on the number of active storage configurations per tenant: the system only counts storage configurations that are actually operational, so you can replace a storage by disabling it without blocking new additions
• Integrations page clearly shows how many storage configurations are in use vs available, and indicates any disabled ones that don't count against the limit

AI summary and description searched separately

• The automatic summary and the extended description of a document are now two independent fields in search: looking for a word that appears only in the description detects it immediately with its own weight
• Outcome: more precise matches, less noise when searching for details that live in only one of the two sections

• Advanced privacy (level 2) now exports AI-extracted structured data (dates, names, amounts, organisations, references) to your external search engine, preserving the section organisation in document detail panels
• When the external engine sync is re-run, AI data already there is preserved automatically, eliminating any risk of content loss
• The pending approvals list responds in constant time even when you have hundreds of them
• Vector embedding generation (semantic search) is more reliable with third-party AI providers: error messages now indicate the precise cause

• Fixed a scenario where sync to the external search engine could overwrite existing AI data with empty values when the local database had already been cleaned up by advanced privacy
• Fixed an issue where documents with many categories of extracted metadata could generate data structures incompatible with some configurations of the external engine
• Fixed AI panel retrieval (summary, description, metadata) which under advanced privacy could show nothing on very old documents not yet re-indexed

Polish and commercial-plan-management update. No visible change for the end user's basic experience: Theka users keep uploading, searching and collaborating as before. The benefits of this release show up gradually in search precision, approval list speed and robustness of privacy configurations already in use.

The new plan features apply automatically based on the contract: no end-user action required.
