How to organize product images with named slots
Image slots
Slots let you define named positions for a product's images (or any other document type).
Configuration (admin)
The administrator configures slots in the Document Type:
Front View (required)
Side View
Back View
Transparent BackgroundAssignment
- Open the product detail
- In the Images section you see configured slots
- For each slot you can upload a new image or select an existing one
- The image gets linked to the slot
Slot status
- Filled — shows the assigned image thumbnail
- Empty required — red badge, needs attention
- Empty optional — can be left empty
How it works
Each image is a separate document linked to the product via a relation. Replacing an image in a slot does not delete the previous image.
