Configuring AI connectors

AI connectors

AI connectors allow Theka to analyze documents and generate embeddings for semantic search.

Supported providers

• OpenAI — GPT-4, GPT-4o, text-embedding-3
• Anthropic — Claude 3.5 Sonnet, Claude 3 Opus
• Other providers compatible with OpenAI API

Configuration

1. The system administrator configures global connectors (in the public panel)
2. For each tenant, enable available connectors in Integrations → AI
3. Configure which model to use for:
   • Document analysis — metadata extraction
   • Embeddings — for semantic search

API keys

API keys are owned by your company:

• You create them on the provider's website (OpenAI, Anthropic)
• You enter them in the Theka panel
• They are encrypted and never visible in plain text
• AI call costs are charged directly to you by the provider

🔒 Theka does not have access to your API keys and does not use them for other purposes. If you revoke the key on the provider, AI analysis stops automatically.
