Query documents with the AI chat

AI Chat

The AI chat lets you ask questions about your documents in natural language, without having to search manually.

How it works

1. Open the Chat section
2. Type your question (e.g., "What are the deadlines for active contracts?")
3. The AI searches documents you have access to
4. You receive an answer with source document citations

Example questions

• "Which contracts have penalties over 50,000 euros?"
• "Summarize the terms of the Rossi contract"
• "Which documents mention a confidentiality clause?"
• "Compare payment terms between supplier Alfa and supplier Beta"

Chat on a specific document

From a document's detail page you can open the chat with the document context preloaded. Answers will focus on that specific document.

Permissions

The chat respects your permissions: it only sees documents you have access to. A user with limited access to certain categories will receive answers based only on those documents.

Requirement: AI chat requires the tenant to have at least one AI connector configured with active embeddings.
